Melody is a wife, mother, business owner, and Spirit-filled believer. She has been married to her husband, Mark, for over 40 years. Together, they have three grown, married children and seven grandchildren.
Melody and Mark lead McKissack Farms Encounter at their home in southern middle Tennessee. Founded nearly 15 years ago, McKissack Farms Encounter has grown into a regional gathering where 80 to 100+ people come together to worship, hear the Word, and receive ministry. Their purpose is to help people mature in their relationship with the Father.
As the administrator for the Encounter meetings, Melody devotes much of her time to mentoring and counseling others using biblical life principles. It is her heart’s desire to see people grow in a living relationship with the Father and walk in their God-given purpose and destiny.
Teaching the Word of God with practical application is a high priority for Melody. She speaks at various events, churches, and Bible studies, and also leads studies herself. She believes it’s not enough to simply hear the Word — without applying it, we risk becoming a form without power.
